David picks the topics for this episode, so brace yourself! We start by swapping our earliest memories of meeting each other, comparing first impressions, and reliving the moments that still live rent-free in our heads, from worship team connections to prom sightings. If you love friendship stories, awkward beginnings, and the way community forms in real life, this one is for you.

Then we jump into movie nostalgia and superhero debates, calling out childhood favorites and the films we watched on repeat, plus where we land today on Spider-Man and the broader Marvel lineup. Expect opinions on the OG Avengers era, underrated picks, and the scenes that still hurt.

The conversation turns more honest when we talk about motivation and purpose: what drives us to get up, go to work, chase goals, and try to live with excellence. We share how our Christian faith shapes that drive, what it looks like to be a light in everyday rooms. We end with lighter chaos (strangest foods we’ve eaten, hobbies, sleep routines) and then a big question: where would we be if we didn’t follow Jesus?

If you enjoyed the mix of funny stories and real life perspective, subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find us. What part of the conversation sounded most like your friend group?

SPEAKER_09

Take it, take it. Okay.

SPEAKER_07

How is there another one? There was a little uh what's it called? A beetle. There was a papa roach of a papa roach. Papa roaches.

SPEAKER_02

Alright, well that was Give me the alright. Give me the guys.

SPEAKER_09

And that was Gray's intro.

SPEAKER_02

What are we t talking about today? What do I need to say? David's trying to choose a to f Hey guys, welcome back to Just Us Talking. And um today David is coming up with the topics. So, yeah, that's cool. And I'm not exactly sure why I'm the one doing this intro, but they elected me to do it, so there you go.

SPEAKER_04

Yay! Your name and what movie you last watched.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, my name is Gray, and the last movie I watched was Spider-Man No Way Home. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Good choice. Good choice.

SPEAKER_10

My name is Tyree, and the last movie I watched was Dreamer.

SPEAKER_05

I'm Mary Grace, and the last movie I watched was also Dreamer. Because we watched it together, right?

SPEAKER_11

Hi, my name is David. I think the last movie I watched was uh Masters of the Universe that just came out. Oh, nice. That was really good.

SPEAKER_09

Hi, I'm Morgan, and the last movie I watched was The Parent Trap. Good class.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, that's a good way to make a perfect movie. Hi, I'm Gracie, and the last movie I watched was Spider-Man No Way Home. Are you kidding me? Far from Home. It was one Gray just said. No Way Home. It was the one before. Oh, never mind. Far from Home.

SPEAKER_11

She doesn't know ball.

SPEAKER_06

No, you're good. That's good.

SPEAKER_04

My name is Kennedy. The last one I watched was also Spider-Man No Way Home.

SPEAKER_10

Trying to catch up before the well, not catch up, but you know, refresh. Yeah. Refresh.

SPEAKER_04

There's a lot of things.

SPEAKER_10

Can I answer the pot adding? Please.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, absolutely.

SPEAKER_10

And this is just a stalking.

SPEAKER_04

But not actually. Go ahead, David. What are we talking about? What's our first topic?

SPEAKER_11

I kind of wanted to keep it on brand with how random I am. I kept the topics random. There is nothing. None of them. There's not a theme. There's not a theme.

First Memories Of Meeting Each Other

SPEAKER_11

So the first topic. This is gonna be a lot of I feel like this is gonna start a lot of funny stores. What is your guys' early earliest memories of meeting each other?

SPEAKER_10

Okay. Can I go first? Of course. I I kind of went in order. David, the first memory I had of meeting you, you had a Justin Bieber haircut.

SPEAKER_11

Yep. Yep, that was accurate.

SPEAKER_10

I just remember thinking like, oh, he must be 13.

SPEAKER_11

I rocked that way longer than I should have. That was bad.

SPEAKER_10

It was past its time.

SPEAKER_11

It was far past its time.

SPEAKER_10

What if you went back for a day?

SPEAKER_11

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_10

For a day.

SPEAKER_07

No.

SPEAKER_10

Morgan, I don't remember when we officially met. I just remember I knew your brothers in high school. You just spawned into your life. You just spawned into my life. But I remember everybody always thinking.

SPEAKER_11

She just spawned. She just spawned.

SPEAKER_10

Well, I remember everybody always being like, oh, Morgan is so cool. I've like, I gotta meet this girl.

SPEAKER_11

But see if the hype is there, you know?

SPEAKER_10

The hype is real.

SPEAKER_11

Yes.

SPEAKER_10

The hype is real. Gracie, I think I met you attached to Morgan. Yeah, no. Attached to the point in time. We are attached. We are attached. Attached with the hip. Kitty, I met you on the worship team when we first. Well, when I first got there, I think you were there in Gray. I also met you on the worship team. Oh, even grey. Even gray! Mary Grace, I remember meeting her at a small group and thinking she's not gonna come back. Because all the all the guys were being crazy. All the boys were I think you guys were like wrestling each other, and I was like, I should remember that. She's not gonna come back. And she came back. Here I am.

SPEAKER_05

I feel like I met most everybody at church. I mean, I feel like Tyree was at small group officially.

SPEAKER_10

David Did David still have Justin Bieber haircut? No. No.

SPEAKER_05

Really?

SPEAKER_10

No, she doesn't remember that. Really? You didn't have Justin Bieber haircut when we met.

SPEAKER_05

Probably small group too. Morgan, I want to say it was at church. I think it was I think it was at church before small group. Gracie was small group because um you came with Morgan one time. And then Kennedy. See, I know the answer to this question. You do? Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, if I get it wrong? No, don't worry. I was like legitimately trying to think because I wrote down the wrong answer when I thought I'd first met you. But we did not meet at small group, which is what I thought.

SPEAKER_05

I feel like it was something else, like it was. Like uh, like not small group or church. Maybe I feel like it was.

SPEAKER_04

Well, I I mean, on a technicality, it kind of was church, but church.

SPEAKER_05

I'm just gonna say church for now because I can't think of it, and you'll tell me the truth later. And Gray, I'm gonna say church too, just because I'm sorry guys, mine was boring, but mine was I mean church.

SPEAKER_10

I have everyone's specific memory at all. It's all stored in my yours was better.

SPEAKER_05

You remember like what you thought when you met us?

SPEAKER_11

Alright, uh, Tyree. I want to say it was Bible study, but I feel like I have a memory before that.

SPEAKER_10

I something at work at Taco Bell.

SPEAKER_11

I didn't work at Taco Bell. I never worked at Taco Bell. What are you talking about?

SPEAKER_08

I did.

SPEAKER_11

No, so that's an ongoing joke. I tricked a lot of people into thinking I'd worked at Taco Bell for a long time. What? Guys, guys, I didn't work at Taco Bell.

SPEAKER_04

I forgot.

SPEAKER_11

It's something that I just forgot.

SPEAKER_04

I actually But he didn't mention it on his job history, so we should have known.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, we were in that episode one time with a bunch of people, and he was like, he's like gaslighting somebody actively that he used to work at Taco Bell, and then it was like do yo. I'm sorry. It was somebody that he grew up with, and he was like, I don't remember you working at Taco Bell. And like, David's like, how could you? I thought you were my friend. Oh for so long. I remember that. And then he leaned over to me and he's like, I'm never working.

SPEAKER_10

I think I just misremembered that because I agreed to help you gaslight and then it became the truth in your mind.

SPEAKER_09

Gas arson.

SPEAKER_02

Did you go to the church that Daniel and I used to go to youth group at?

SPEAKER_09

Yeah.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, I feel like okay, I think we met there because I remember meeting Tyree and I was like, she's really familiar. Uh you leave an impression.

SPEAKER_10

I don't even remember that. Crazy.

SPEAKER_11

She leaves an impression. Mary Grace, I do remember when you first started coming to group, and I, you know, I thought you were really cool, really quiet and shy at the time. And I was a little afraid that you weren't gonna return. I will admit.

SPEAKER_10

You guys all thought that you scared me away.

SPEAKER_11

Yes.

SPEAKER_10

No, no, it was just the specific night that you came.

SPEAKER_11

We all decided to wrestle each other.

SPEAKER_10

Guys rolling around on the floor. There's no way that she's a button back.

SPEAKER_11

Well, it started with mess. Oh, I just said I didn't even realize it's so crazy. So Morgan, kind of the same thing. I feel like you just spawned in because your brother was my mentor for a long time. And then I was like, wait, he has siblings? And I was like, and his siblings cool?

SPEAKER_09

Like, I was like, cooler, suck it.

SPEAKER_10

Like, I was like, well, she's like one of those characters in season three that they try to convince you is they're the whole thing. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_11

I was in the background of that.

SPEAKER_10

They changed the actor.

SPEAKER_07

Dark skin on this.

SPEAKER_11

Gracie. I remember it was pickleball not that long ago, actually. And I actually really didn't like you because you were kicking our butt. We were talking trash, though. You were talking trash. I was like, oh, there's nothing.

SPEAKER_10

Gracie's.

SPEAKER_11

I forget who my teammate was.

SPEAKER_10

Probably me.

SPEAKER_11

No, it wasn't you, because you're good. It was somebody who wasn't clean.

SPEAKER_10

Hey, can you say that? Can I say that in that? Tyree.

SPEAKER_11

Tyree is good at pickleball. And she was not my teammate.

SPEAKER_10

I feel like you were gonna say great, but then you settle for good. No, okay. It like stuff.

SPEAKER_11

Tyree is a fantastic at pickleball. And I was stuck with a bad teammate when I first played Morgan and Gracie. But it also it we're just unlocked. It's hard to meet them because they have such good chemistry together. The Kevin's great.

SPEAKER_09

The Kev's great. The Kevin's grand, we say. Kennedy. I can't help it.

SPEAKER_11

Kenny, I can't remember the first time, but I remember the first, like, first couple. You were kinda awkward and quiet, and you kind of like you kind of hid behind like so like I feel you kind of just like hung behind them a lot at first. No, yeah, it's true. But and then Gray, I don't know. I feel like I noticed. I was like, who's that child playing up on stage?

SPEAKER_09

Who's that child there with the baby card? Whose child is to slapping the face? Gosh, he's cooking!

SPEAKER_10

That's funny.

SPEAKER_09

Oh gosh.

SPEAKER_10

That's good.

SPEAKER_09

Nice. Okay, so for Gracie, technically, technically, we met when we were like five. That's insane. We were in the same kindergarten class. Do you remember that though? Lord, no, that's what I'm saying. So technically, yeah, but my actual first memory was in high school at a friend's birthday party. And we were all over, and like I think a group of us ended up playing like a game, like games in the corner. I'm pretty sure we were. I remember Gracie being in that group of people.

SPEAKER_02

Were you in that group of people?

SPEAKER_09

No, I just was witnessing. Yes. What do you mean?

SPEAKER_03

I was in the wall.

SPEAKER_09

So like that's the earliest memory I feel like I actually have. You know, we need to be roommates. Can I this is so this was funny? Is the church that like we are all at now? I was like still in college when it started. So like I know that I met people in passing. So like Kennedy, I know I met before I actually remember like having a full conversation with because we run worship stuff together. But I also was like so just like, I'm just here for like the summer. I also just wasn't talking to people, very quiet. So my first actual memory would be at small group, yeah. Watching people get really mad at each other playing volleyball. It was great. Even Gray, Gray to probably worship stuff or just at church, I would say. Tyree, I have I just have this memory of Tyree has a running bit with my brother Ryan.

SPEAKER_07

Yes! I have that right now!

SPEAKER_09

Yes, about I'm just gonna say, do you remember Allison Snower? They say that all the time. I remember when Ryan was in high school, he would say it all the time and like laugh so hard at it that it then became a bit for me to do to him. Because I was like, I don't know where this came from, but it made him laugh. So I remember one time at church, I think like you were like in the circle, and then I heard from a distance Tyree say it, and I was like, it's her. That's the first memory I have of Tyree. I'm sure we'd like met like after that.

SPEAKER_10

Like actually, that's so funny. I have that written down, but I didn't want it to be all about Ryan. We can't talk about all of that.

SPEAKER_05

Wait, can I say this before you say how you remember meeting me? Just to prove that I remember it. Because as you went around, I was like, wait, I think I actually officially met you at your house when um me and Maui came over for Easter because we didn't have like Easter, yeah, we weren't doing anything, and you guys were like, you should come over. Yeah, it was so fun. Yeah, no, yeah.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, that was so much fun.

SPEAKER_05

I know. I was like, I have to say that really quick because in case that's what you wrote down. I wanted to I didn't write down anything this episode.

SPEAKER_09

I would be honest, totally forgot. I I'm taking the role of David this week. No prep. No prep. Zero prep. Nada, not a prep. You know what? I need a new man. You're welcome, both. I was gonna say church, but that actually is the literally the first time we met. My dad's like, hey, I invited some people over for Easter. And it's like 20 minutes still. Y'all are gonna get there. I was like, you what?

SPEAKER_05

Like, who's and I remember thinking, as everyone thinks, when they meet the Morgan, like she is so cool and so freaking hilarious.

SPEAKER_10

She alright. This is so much fun. Ladies, ladies, ladies, ladies.

SPEAKER_09

Um, but no, yeah, that actually is first memory. Yeah, that was a good one. A classic. And then David was at Groot. Specifically, like, specifically, I remember though, I think up to that point, I've been like once or twice, and I was just like, I met Kennedy the first week, and then she wasn't there the second week. I was like, frick. I was like, I'm screwed. Who do I talk to? And so then I was like in the corner with somebody we had already mentioned, and David, and we ended up talking about like Marvel for like two hours.

SPEAKER_11

Yep, that that is correct.

SPEAKER_09

And I that is my distinct memory of just being like, I'm a full nerd right now. I was like, we're just gonna do it burn all cylinders. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Good. We're cooking.

SPEAKER_06

I feel like for you three ladies, my grace, Tyreek and Kenna. I feel like I met you guys all off like at the same time. Maybe or like here and there, you know, at Bible City or whatever. Yeah. Playing volleyball. I don't really remember the specific time. But I remember Worker talking about you guys and being like, there's alcohol, you have to meet them. Okay, I'll come to Bible study. Okay.

SPEAKER_11

Okay, I've been in Bible study a couple of times. I completely forgot about that.

SPEAKER_09

It's because you're never there when she's there.

SPEAKER_06

That's true. I've can't only once. But yeah, anyway.

SPEAKER_03

That's true.

SPEAKER_06

David, I remember the pickleball, and you were like crashing out, and people are like, Yeah, he's we call him Crash Out David. And I was like, What? And it was like you were like going crazy or something like that. Because he was like, Because that's why I'm beating you. So I guess that's what it was. Right.

SPEAKER_11

And Morgan. I'm no longer like that.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, I'm just telling you what was said to me until we play pickleball. Morgan was in high school. We were at a friend's grad party. I remember that. We were already supposed to be roommates, and I was like, she like look ignored me the whole time, and I was like, dang, getting like egoed by this girl. And I was like, And I was like, you know what? It's fine. I'll be her roommate one year, and then I'll find someone else. Anyway. And look how that worked out. And look, no, it's fine. It's perfect. Anyway, but she was playing cornhole and like these sandals, and it's like etched in my brain. Sandals she was wearing, bro.

SPEAKER_09

Oh my gosh, it's like to be fair, I wasn't trying to ego her. I was just really socially awkward.

SPEAKER_06

She didn't know how to.

SPEAKER_09

Anyway.

SPEAKER_06

My mom was like, go talk to her. I'm like, I tried. I tried. You saw me try.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, you guys have no idea how my gosh. How much I've changed.

SPEAKER_06

But the growth college, you grew so much in college.

SPEAKER_10

Were they Tivas?

SPEAKER_06

No. No. They were. Can I explain? Can I describe them? Yeah. Okay, so here's your foot, right? Here's your feet. Take your foot. And so it was like a sandal, it's like a thong, but it was like jewels. Like this. Okay, but then jewel out this way, and then the back had like these like string things. I've I don't think I've ever owned that. Well, like that's what jewelry is.

SPEAKER_04

Jewel's jewels. Jewel. On Morgan's feet? Yes. No. Jewel on Morgan's feet.

SPEAKER_06

She was a different gal. That different.

SPEAKER_07

I do not remember that. That's really funny. This is my story, not yours. I believe you. Jules Morgan.

SPEAKER_06

What about Greg? Oh, Greg. Here, uh, his own house. During this podcast.

SPEAKER_04

You came to my house not knowing any here. I mean, of my family, I mean crazy. Stop. I don't want to see that photo. It's yeah.

SPEAKER_07

No, they just send it to the group. Oh, we're sending the bigger free range. Next weekend.

SPEAKER_09

No posting that. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_07

She's gonna make- No, she can make a big thing. Her birthday is September 26th.

SPEAKER_09

Doxing. Okay. Yes. She's gonna make a sticker.

SPEAKER_04

Oh man.

SPEAKER_09

Love this picture so much.

SPEAKER_04

Well, I meant right at the hospital. Yeah. That was nice. Tyree worshipslash small group. Like I feel like I saw you and we were on worship together, but we never like spoke.

SPEAKER_10

I always thought you were I was thinking about this. I thought you were like this like super edgy, like girl. Because you would wear your leather jacket with the black or like the red block plaid skirt and like these boots. Oh yeah. Leather boots. And I'm like, this girl's like, she's the modern day Peyton Sawyer. She's like edgy. She's cooking.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I love that leather jacket. Yeah, but I can't like remember specifically. I don't know. I guess I just saw you around, so I don't have like a memory in my mind, like, oh yeah, that's the day I met Tyree. We were like definitely like we joke about it, but group leader at small group. So like going there and sitting at the table for the first time, and everyone's like, This is the person I was like, I see. And then Mary Grace, I met at youth group actually. You had come uh for a couple like at least two months, you were like kind of a youth leader for a while, and so technically you were my youth leader. That's how I met you. So funny. And like I remember being there, and then you like pulled me to the side, and you're like, You're an oldest daughter, aren't you? She's like, I can just like I can just tell I'm also an oldest daughter, a lot of siblings, and like so we talked about that with somebody else I won't name for a while, but yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Oh my gosh, that is right.

SPEAKER_04

I remember thinking like so, like yeah, it was at church, but not like in a small group like where we would have.

SPEAKER_05

I remember thinking like this girl, like she doesn't need to be here, like she is we're basically the same age.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you had come when I was just about to like stop going, and you're like, oh, like what are you doing?

SPEAKER_05

Well, I just could tell you were so mature and just I don't know, just so like definitely oldest daughter vibes, and I was like, she's so cool, and with my leather jacket, even my black leather jacket that I'd wear even in the summertime.

SPEAKER_04

Like my beanies. Oh my gosh, look. Yeah, I forgot about that phase. That is cool, yes, and then David. I think technically also it would be youth group because when I started coming, you guys were all about to graduate, like that group um of people. Like I just started coming and you guys were like finishing out your senior year. But I think also I saw you guys at prom. Were you there at the one that was in the zoo? Yes, yeah. You were there? I was there. What? That you know that embarrassing. Yes! Oh my gosh, what? So I'm gonna be able to do that. So I had we had been distinct. No, no, no. But I I I did not like know you guys because you guys were all graduating, and obviously I was 15, so it was like we were not friends. But I saw like all those people and I was like, bro, I can't get away from them. Like, golly, like they're just everywhere now.

SPEAKER_11

And uh for being at a zoo, that was a pretty fun prom.

SPEAKER_04

I did like that prom a lot. But so I feel like yeah, I saw you there, but again, that's not like talking to you, so I guess talking to you would have been like small group, but I don't remember specifically. And then again, Morgan, you were just kind of coming and going. Like your brother was my youth leader, so I knew of you, and you'd be on worship, but then you'd like like blitz out of it. I was gone. That was I think the first conversation we had made. Maybe we were on worship together, like I was just talking to you, and you're like, Yeah. She's like, What do you think of my outfit? I'm like, What do you mean? She's like, My brother told me that this outfit reminds him of the guy from Blues Clues, and she's like, and now this outfit is ruined. She's like, Do you agree? And I was like, No, I I don't think so. Oh, good, good. We're like, but it's true, but it was true. But she agreed. Yeah. And then Gracie was at small group. Shut up. I love it.

SPEAKER_05

Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_04

Gracie was at small group, and then like Pickleball and Sonic, like the three of us sat at a table at Sonic. And that's when Ryan found that. Um shut up! No, we were chatting, and I was like, oh, this girl, she's so cool.

SPEAKER_09

She's like, all right, nope, we're done. No.

SPEAKER_07

No, it was great. It was great. Oh, I was the first.

SPEAKER_04

And then yeah, Morgan's like, she thought she liked you. I was like, did she?

SPEAKER_07

She liked you. So yeah. Did she? She liked you.

SPEAKER_10

Guys, uh love this. That was a good question, David. Very good. Okay, thank you.

SPEAKER_11

I was kind of I kind of wanted to see everybody's perspective because I I was hoping for something like, oh, Kennedy, I didn't know you were at that prom. That's cool. I knew Morgan was gonna cook with hers. I'm not gonna lie. I knew Morgan would cook.

SPEAKER_10

Do you remember Alice? Do you remember? I literally have that written down verbatim. I said, I knew her brothers in school. Ryan and I have a deep bond over Allison Stoner and off-brand things. I remember like for a while there, every time me and Ryan were together, we would just show each other like different memes of like off-brand items. Like the off-brand Oreos. Yes. Those specifically, because I remember we were at somebody's house and he showed me the picture. Full confidence, read it wrong, and I said, Cream Betwens. It was like cream between. I was like, no. Like full confidence. I said that in front of a table full of people. What is that?

SPEAKER_11

Cream bentwings? Didn't you say you have like no shame? So you're good.

SPEAKER_10

I have no shame. No shame. No shame for that.

Childhood Favorites And Superhero Picks

SPEAKER_11

Next topic. Favorite movie growing up, and then also, what is your favorite superhero movie right now? But answer the first one first. For me, growing up. I really liked Wally. I don't know why. I loved Wally as a kid. And then my favorite Marvel movie right now. If we're sticking to like the mainstreams, probably like Captain America Winter Soldier or No Well.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah. Very good. Very good. Very good. Very good. I think my favorite movie growing up, I loved like oh gosh. Over the hedge. Just imagine. Oh my gosh. Too good. There's also a face where I just like spammed watching Nim's Island a bunch. I don't know why. I thought I was in no movie. I literally oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_11

My sisters watch a movie all the time, and obviously I get stuck watching it too.

SPEAKER_09

I had to. And then there was sorry, the other one I can think of off the top of my head was we had Looney Tunes back in action on DVD. Yeah, and I watched it multiple times a day to the point that my mom lost, like, quote unquote, lost this DVD. She was like, oh no, it's gonna be we lost it. It is. Oh gosh. And then favorite superhero movie in general. I do love the Amazing Spider-Man. I know it's over it's over hated. I'm just gonna say I agree. It's overhated. I love that movie. So that yeah, I think that's it actually. Good. I don't know. Good, good. That's good.

SPEAKER_06

That's it. My favorite movie growing up was probably I love the parent trap, the Lindsay Lohan one. That one ate. I also love Shark Tales. That was really good. Um favorite superhero movies. Honestly, I haven't seen like all of them, but right now we're watching the Spider-Mans, and I'm really liking Spider-Man. So right now we're in the Tom Holland ones.

SPEAKER_11

I good. I take back Toby's second movie as my favorite. I forgot.

SPEAKER_06

I haven't seen it. We started with Andrew Garfield. Really? You skipped Toby. Well, I saw a reel and I wanted to watch it. I saw a reel. And I was like, wait, I want to see this. Yeah, and then sad.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, I was so ticked. It was purple rain.

SPEAKER_06

Stop. No, it wasn't. I'm gonna sue Instagram promotional gaming. No, I didn't know she died. That was crazy. I didn't know that. No, it was a them, and it was just like, okay, eat. And then she died, and I was like, she's not actually dead. And they were like, no, she's dead.

SPEAKER_09

No, but mind you, Gracie texts me. I was so picked. She's like, wait. So you've been telling me this long to watch this movie, and you didn't want to tell me that she died. Spoiler alert.

SPEAKER_11

Spoiler alert for the people at home who haven't seen it.

SPEAKER_07

It's for 10 years.

SPEAKER_08

Oh, for 10 years.

SPEAKER_06

I hate watching movies with sad endings. Like, that is like a pet peeve. I hate it.

SPEAKER_11

So I have a third one.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, well, I was so mad when that happens. It's okay.

SPEAKER_09

It's pretty close to receiving.

SPEAKER_06

Alright, we'll already saw what happened. And it doesn't count. No, it doesn't even it doesn't fix anything. It fixes like no story. I was never mad at him.

SPEAKER_09

No, but like it it resolves his character. Sorry, let's talk. No. Yeah. Oh, wait, yeah, you have more to go. You're not done yet.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I'm not done. I haven't seen that in the next one.

SPEAKER_09

And my guess is there's going to be more after that. They just haven't announced it yet. Yeah, yeah. I am.

SPEAKER_06

Well, we just finished the one with um Mysterio. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's the one I just finished. Yeah.

SPEAKER_11

So you've only got one more left and then you're for Tom Holland. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

You're going back to Toby.

SPEAKER_10

And that one, that the next one that you're getting ready to see will hopefully provide some closure for you.

SPEAKER_06

Well, I saw a reel. Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

About what happens.

SPEAKER_06

But I, yeah, like it's closure. But like, I'm so mad that Gwen. Yeah, she told me. I'm so mad that Gwen died. Yeah. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

That will last forever.

SPEAKER_09

No, imagine being in that theater and you're like 13, 14, 10. Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_11

It's so bad.

SPEAKER_09

And you're sitting there and you're like, there's no way. And then you see the little web hand reaching out, and you're like, even as a kid, I was like, catch up.

SPEAKER_07

What are you doing? Don't use a web.

SPEAKER_09

And then like, no, she didn't die. He got her. And then did you hear the machine in the movie?

SPEAKER_08

Did you hear the crack when she hit the crack?

SPEAKER_10

Yes.

SPEAKER_08

She's got a knockdown.

SPEAKER_10

She's got a knock down.

SPEAKER_07

Yes. I was like, no, I'm not going to crack. No, I didn't even know.

SPEAKER_09

I'm an honorable movie. Like, I will be like, I will be like that. I'm like, I'm falling down the stairs and land in that exact same way. I'm alive. I'm good. I'm good. She was being dramatic.

SPEAKER_10

I'm going to put my brother to school.

SPEAKER_09

I got that whipped. You're fine. You're fine. Alright, Kenna.

SPEAKER_04

Well, I had written down Wally, but it's been stolen from me. But I also really liked Monsters Inc. as a kid. I watched that a lot. Good choice. And Rapunzel, too. Tangled, I mean. And then Fate it's hard. I gotta, I mean, I've gotta go. Iron Man is my favorite superhero, but nowadays I like wanna go with like the original Avengers movie, like right now. Just because like we're so far off from what it used to be, and I love reels of like the OG days, and I'm like, oh, I just can go back to that. But I do agree with Spider-Man 2, Toby McGuire. He's not my favorite Spider-Man, but for some reason I was allowed to watch a movie at a ridiculously young age, and Brooks and I would watch it all the time. And I was terrified of like when the glass like falls on Doc Oxwife and kills her.

SPEAKER_08

Oh my god. And then your foot traumatized me.

SPEAKER_04

Oh no, that traumatized me, but we would watch it all the time. I'm like, why? Like I didn't actually like that movie, but you're just allowed to watch it, and we watched it so often. Yeah. This is so good. As a kid. I mean, I was like young, I'm saying like six or seven years old.

SPEAKER_11

Is that like the original uh Mar like original superhero Marvel movies like Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, like Daredevil, like all those, I loved those.

SPEAKER_06

Wait, I loved the new Fantastic Four.

SPEAKER_11

The new one was good.

SPEAKER_06

Wait, maybe that's my favorite then. Yeah, think about that's my favorite, the new Fantastic Four. That one was really good. That one was good.

SPEAKER_11

But like as a kid, I was a sucker for those early 2000s superhero movies. Yeah. I loved those.

SPEAKER_09

That's why I literally we've had this discussion, and I think it was a part of the two-hour discussion, David and I, after like first meeting. Um, but Expo Origins Wolverine, that movie, I know it's so bad. I rewatched it the other week. I'm like, oh, but it's so good.

SPEAKER_11

So I was only allowed to watch that one with my dad in the room because my mom thought it was too violent. I would sneak watch it on iTunes on our computer. Sneak watch because I loved that movie so much as a kid.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah. If it was like my childhood favorite superhero movie, that's it. Like incredible. G Force.

SPEAKER_00

It's terrible.

SPEAKER_08

G Force! Yes! My favorite superhero movie, G Force. Yes! And that's valid. The 2008 Smash hit G Force.

SPEAKER_04

I love that.

SPEAKER_11

You know what? We gotta rewatch G Force. This was so long.

SPEAKER_04

I love them.

SPEAKER_11

But uh no, I mean, if I go back and watch that X-Men Origins, it sucks, dude.

SPEAKER_09

But in my head, I was like, this is so cool.

SPEAKER_11

This was peak. Like it was peak 2000. Like, it was amazing.

SPEAKER_04

Tyree.

SPEAKER_10

Hmm. My favorite movie growing up, it's a tie between either The Wizard of Oz, because that is the only VHS tape my Grammy had at her house when we would go visit, and Wizard of Oz or that was the movie. The Wedding Planner with J Lo, Matthew McConaughey. As a child, you watched that? Yeah. Oh, wow. Well, okay, so when we would go, so at my Grammy's house, that The Wizard of Oz was the only VHS tape that we had. Also, she had an ancient TV. And then when we would go to the lake house, the only VHS tape was the wedding planner. So not by choice, by just my favorite superhero movie. I would say, like, I'm gonna agree with Kennedy. Say like the original Avengers, just because it's a classic. Or I really like the Iron Man movies. I like RDJ's.

SPEAKER_04

Say it louder, because that's what I always say.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, I really like his character. He's super funny.

SPEAKER_04

The third one's super underrated. I agree. Oh, the whole just him in general. Yeah. I'll never get over it. He's the best superhero of all time.

SPEAKER_10

I think I will I like the Avengers or the first Avengers movie. I think I want to say like Age of Ultron.

SPEAKER_07

Yes, my favorite.

SPEAKER_10

Dude, Age of Ultron is so overheated with cows.

SPEAKER_11

Legitimately so good. That's that's Peak Avengers right there, because they're all working together so well.

SPEAKER_10

And I'll it's not a movie, but it like is up there with like best Marvel creation ever. I'm sorry, WandaVision. So good.

SPEAKER_00

It was so good until like the last two episodes. Like the whole mystery was great, and then the the finale was so lackable.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, I was fine with it, but the Doctor Strange and WandaVision like movies they didn't even suck. That made one that made me hate Wanda. It ruined her character. It didn't ruin like what the show, like yeah.

SPEAKER_10

I agree. I love the Wanda in WandaVision. Like, I love that arc was really good. Like that was so good.

SPEAKER_11

I feel like that's what the problem with Marvel shows. They all have such good like the leading up and then the finale show.

SPEAKER_04

They just keep giving everyone a random kid. I'm like, can we stop with that? Like that made me scream. Like, what's the point?

SPEAKER_09

I don't want that. Yeah. Oh my gosh. Sorry. Honestly, like okay, I'm sorry. I lied. My favorite CV Hero movie is Captain America Civil War. Yeah. Cause I my family. Yeah. My family was on a cruise, and it was the week that that released, so they did a midnight premiere like early or whatever on the cruise. You can go down and watch it. And so we stay up to like four o'clock in the morning, and like we're like absolutely obsessing up, but I remember loving that movie.

SPEAKER_05

I feel like I've said Lion King 2 a lot, so I thought of some other movies that I liked when I was a kid. I really liked the movie Bolt. It's so good. I watched that a lot.

SPEAKER_10

You look like a Because of Wind Dixie kind of girl.

SPEAKER_05

Oh my gosh, I love Because of Wind Dixie.

SPEAKER_09

I need you guys to know that Tyree looked so proud of herself when she said that.

SPEAKER_05

She was like, you look like a because of Wind Dixie girl. How can you not love Because of Wind Dixie? I also loved Ella Enchanted. Oh and Princess and the Frog. And Monsters versus Aliens. I like that one a lot too.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I forgot about that.

SPEAKER_05

Specifically because of Bob. That was why I love that.

SPEAKER_11

You may not have a brain, gentlemen. I have an idea.

SPEAKER_05

So those were some of my other favorites. For Marvel, I think my favorite is Black Widow, but I really like the Iron Man movie too.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Nice.

SPEAKER_09

Nice, nice, nice. Are you a Black Widow movie hater? Actually, we can't talk about this one by the way. Oh, David Hayeswoman. Next point. David hates women. Next point. Next point. What's next?

What Motivates Us Every Day

SPEAKER_11

Alright. This one, topic three, what drives you guys? Like, what is your motivation? Not your car. I saw Gracie's face there. Like what when you guys wake up and you know have to do what you do. Go to work. Do, you know, go to work at church or whatever. What is your motivation and why?

SPEAKER_04

Are you supposed to start off?

SPEAKER_11

I'm not used to starting off. Right. I don't know. For me, I just I feel like I have to be able to make my family, like my family proud, and also be able to provide and be somebody worth looking, not looking up to, but if somebody had a hard time, they could come to me and I could be somebody reliable for them. I want to be a reliable person for the people around me. So that's good.

SPEAKER_09

I don't know. I feel like what drives me is just like I think it's two-parted. One, I think that like, I don't know. I think there's an opportunity in every aspect of your life as a Christian to like spread the gospel, like put that out there, like show Christ's love to other people. So like on days that I'm like, I really don't want to go to work. Like I don't want to be there, like I don't want to go do this. It's like no like this is yeah, this is an opportunity to do that. And then I also think just like specifically for at work, I don't know. I've always been a firm believer that's like everything you do should be done with excellence, like you should try your hardest and like actually do good work because that reflects like not just on yourself, but like I don't know, like on what you believe in, and like crestfallers, we should have a high standard of work and like we should like do our best. And I was like, you know, yeah, like I'm not gonna be like rolling up late, like do crappy a crappy job and then like leave early. Like, you know, I'm not gonna do that. So I feel like that at least in that sense is what drives me.

SPEAKER_06

I think for me being a teacher, I think knowing that the Lord has given me the ability to be a teacher and be patient with these kids. I think also like that he's like I know he has placed this many kids with these specific needs in my classroom. And yeah, I guess just the Lord knowing that and like being a light to them, because like I do serve like low-income families and like families who like maybe their parents aren't around as much and weren't as fortunate as maybe I was growing up. And so these kids usually need a little bit of extra love and a little bit of extra care and have different needs. So I think just knowing that and also that summer's coming.

SPEAKER_01

It's another thing that drives me, knowing that I have off the summer. Not bad, it drives me.

SPEAKER_04

Amen, I mean nice. I think main thing that drives me is like the idea of my future, like the goals that you're trying to hit. It's like something I keep in mind, is like, you know, maybe I'm not where I want to be currently, but like these are still the steps, and that's like you know, the thing that drives me the most. Like getting up and going to work or doing things I don't want to do. It's like, oh, but this is shaping my character, this is shaping me, this is like getting me towards my goals and what I want my life to look like eventually. So yeah, that's what I'd say.

SPEAKER_10

Hmm. I say what drives me is just God's beauty. I feel like I am an observer a lot of the the time, and I just love I don't know, between like going to work, coming home, like coming here, or you know, doing whatever, you know, with my day. There's so much of like God's grace and his goodness and his beauty that's around me and his love too. And I think what drives me is the fact that, right, like he first loved me, so I can spread that same to other people, or like I can also create things that reflect his beauty, his love, his grace, his goodness, things like that. So I think I wake up every day and I'm like, even if it I know it's gonna be a sucky day at work because I got a lot of stuff to do, or whatever, I think I look forward to the moments within the day that are beautiful, like being able to laugh with co-workers or being able to come here with you guys, the moments of joy throughout my day that God blesses me with. So I think those are things that I that get me out of bed that I look forward to within my day.

SPEAKER_05

Seeing the baby geese.

SPEAKER_10

Seeing the baby geese, and or not working. Mary Grace. There you go. Mary Grace, she gave me uh for my birthday a portrait of baby geese that I get to wake up to and look at every day.

SPEAKER_11

Is it like when you open your eyes and look up at your ceiling, or is it on the wall?

SPEAKER_10

No, it's like on my little night stand table.

SPEAKER_11

It'd be so funny, it's like right above your bed.

SPEAKER_10

It's on the inside of my eyelids.

SPEAKER_05

What drives me is kind of similar to what you guys are saying, being a light in the world. There's days where I'm really tired and it's hard to get out of bed and you know, be doing all the things that I need to do. But I think, you know, how important it is that this world needs salt and light, even if that's just being a presence in a room that is unlike what people are used to. I think people can pick up on the fact that you have the Holy Spirit in you more than we realize because you're so just something about your presence. It's not as negative, or I don't know, they just notice that there's something different. So sometimes you don't even have to say a lot, but I also think smiling at people, looking them in the eye, there's a lot of things that we take for granted being in a Christian community and being out in the world, people notice that way more than I think we realize. So I think just kind of being that presence out in the world motivates me. And then also being there for the people I really care about, not disappointing people, that also motivates me if I'm being completely honest. There's some people pleaser stuff in there, but ultimately the people I care about, the people I care about. I mean, I would do yeah, I would do pretty much anything for them, family, my close friends. So yeah, that's a big motivator for me too.

SPEAKER_11

Good. I think everybody has some solid answers there. Except Morgan's first answer. Her first answer.

SPEAKER_09

That's cut out, so so my only answer. So her only answer is green.

SPEAKER_11

Yes, you're right. I'm so sorry. I'm schizophrenic. Alright, topic number four, another serious one. What's

The Strangest Foods We Have Eaten

SPEAKER_11

the weirdest slash strangest thing you've ever eaten?

SPEAKER_10

I don't really wait. I'm gonna just ask the general question here because I think it's not TikTok. And I was like, when's the last time y'all had a ball of porridge?

SPEAKER_05

Was that Goldilocks house? Like, what do you mean?

SPEAKER_04

What's your answer, David?

SPEAKER_11

It's either gotta be deer heart, gator, or cricket.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely not. You out crooked.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Let's skip this topic. I don't want to know. Yeah, you win.

SPEAKER_10

That's insane. I don't want to know. And that's why he asked the question.

SPEAKER_11

Well, I know I I was genuinely curious.

SPEAKER_10

What do you think? Never mind.

SPEAKER_11

No, we'll just let it go down to.

SPEAKER_09

I already said.

SPEAKER_11

Did you not listen?

SPEAKER_09

No.

SPEAKER_11

Sorry, we were having a I said it's a tie between Gator, deer heart, or cricket.

SPEAKER_06

That's hard. What do you guys have? We both had ox testicle and can be.

SPEAKER_07

No, you're not.

SPEAKER_09

No. Please know.

SPEAKER_10

Ostrich balls?

SPEAKER_09

Ostrich meatballs? Kind of fire.

SPEAKER_10

Pretty good. Pretty good. But yeah. You had ostrich meatballs?

SPEAKER_09

Ostrich meatballs bowl testicles. I thought Deerheart would get them.

SPEAKER_06

No.

SPEAKER_11

And then Grape also is a lot of things.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, but that we really're looking normal. Okay, hold on. Nobody can say anything to me about eating baby food. Y'all have balls.

SPEAKER_07

We did not live.

SPEAKER_09

You could have eaten anything else.

SPEAKER_11

Tyree, you had a choice of all these different foods.

SPEAKER_09

We were in a place called carnivore. And then only had meat there.

unknown

Alright, Kenna.

SPEAKER_11

Tyree, you go to the store and you buy baby food.

SPEAKER_04

Not now.

SPEAKER_11

What? As of last week.

SPEAKER_04

Alright, Kenna, what's your favorite food? Nope, not my favorite. But then it's a crazy food. Wait.

SPEAKER_11

Wait, wait, was that your guys' favorite food?

SPEAKER_04

Austrian? Okay. To be honest, I haven't had anything extremely weird because it's a mental game for me. If you tell me what it is, I probably will not eat it. Okay. But I've had blood sausage before. So that was in England. That was in England, yes. I was like, I've got to try to do it. And then like swordfish and like some like unique things, but that's not bad. Like it was good.

SPEAKER_10

But I I have this thing where I cannot force myself to eat something that like smells bad or looks bad. Like I physically can't do it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So baby food.

SPEAKER_10

Um no, I had the good kind. I had the bananas and strawberries, okay? It's basically yogurt, okay? I figure you could just bake that like. I didn't want to. That's probably why.

SPEAKER_11

Tyree went into the baby section. Some woman was there. Oh, how old? How old is it?

SPEAKER_10

112 is.

SPEAKER_11

How old is it?

SPEAKER_08

52 months.

SPEAKER_11

She starts going.

SPEAKER_10

12,000 months.

SPEAKER_11

She starts counting on her fingers.

SPEAKER_10

Hold on almost there. I've never, like, I've had venison before.

SPEAKER_03

That's probably the max.

SPEAKER_10

I think. Did I tell you guys about the story where I was in Asia and I ate this pepper off the side of the road? Yeah. Oh, your face wasn't. The whole left side of my face went nutm.

SPEAKER_00

Why would you do that?

SPEAKER_10

When in Rome.

SPEAKER_09

If you're if you're there, you got that's what I'm saying. Like, if I wasn't in Canada. Ah, so if I was there, I would have eaten that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Nope.

SPEAKER_11

Did they did you know it was that when you ate it? Or was that something they told you?

SPEAKER_09

No, we fully knew. Oh, we knew. Okay.

SPEAKER_06

It was more like a dare. Yeah. You guys are.

SPEAKER_09

It was like, who's gonna get to like eating the weirdest thing? Well, and it was like a big thing.

SPEAKER_06

And like right before me and somebody else who was there, we're like, we will try anything. Like, and then that was like we were both like, ooh.

SPEAKER_09

And I think Gracie's like, I'll spit it with you. And I was like, didn't like eat like no, it was like, did you just try it?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Cut those noises out. Alright, Mary Grace. What? What? Am I not allowed to laugh? My gosh. Go ahead, Mary Grace.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, so the weirdest food that I've ever eaten is like a teeny bite of cow tongue. Oh yeah. Because one of my coworkers brought it in.

SPEAKER_10

Co-workers, we are current job, current job. Oh no.

SPEAKER_05

It's like kind of a cultural thing for them. And so, yeah, they brought it in. Yes. And try like they were like, just try it, just try it. And it didn't look too weird, but I only tried a little bite. And I was just like, no. I did it for like just to say that I did it, but I probably wouldn't ever do more than just a tiny bite of it. But that is by far I think a good answer, yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah. Oh, I remember when we were at that Seder meal, we had that canned, or no, it was jarred fish. Yes! Absolutely not. That was disgusting. That was disgusting.

SPEAKER_05

It was like jarred fish. Jelly-like. It looks like cattle. I know what you're talking about. Oh. It was yeah. That was.

SPEAKER_11

Yes, because my favorite thing on their menu, deer heart.

SPEAKER_09

That's the only thing on their menu. Deer heart French meat.

SPEAKER_05

We don't know what kind of meat that is, so it could have been.

SPEAKER_09

But they know it's up when you say meat.

SPEAKER_11

Alright, next topic. Alright.

Free Time Habits And Creative Hobbies

SPEAKER_11

Topic five. Favorite thing to do in your guys' free time. I know about your guys' working jobs. And well when we're not together, what do you guys do? Not working, not together. You guys kinda on your own. What's your thing? What's your thing? What's your thing? Well, what's yours? Go first. My thing. I'd love to get more so back into it now that I have a lot more free time. Photography. I really liked photography. And I'm probably gonna buy a new camera soon. So I'm so excited about it.

SPEAKER_10

New Instagram coming soon. David Snaps.

SPEAKER_11

David Snapps.

SPEAKER_09

I would say honestly, I feel like vinyl is a big part of my free time. Because I'm either looking for it or listening to it. But always when I'm doing that, it's like I'm doing something artistic, I guess. I don't know. Because that's how I like that's how I feel like I relax more. It's like that, or like reading or like making art, something like that. Anything creative, I think.

SPEAKER_06

For me, just hang out with people. Find different people to hang out with and just do whatever.

SPEAKER_11

So I said when you were alone. Oh.

SPEAKER_06

I fear I'm never alone. When I am alone, I'm taking a nap, actually, probably.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, okay. That's a good answer. Fair.

SPEAKER_09

Watching bones, taking a nap.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Oh gosh, Gracie, we have a fan. I sent it in group chat. She's like, Bones. We'll chat. We'll chat. Shout out. Shout out, Alicia.

SPEAKER_04

My free time activities would be baking for sure. Number one. It's what I love, but a lot of times, like you get home from work, it's end of the day. Like, I'm not gonna do that. I don't know. So like legitimately, honestly, it might sound lame, but like watching a movie. I love it so much.

SPEAKER_11

A viewing film, just call it.

SPEAKER_04

Just a film, yeah. Pure cinema. It's just letterbox. I should get it. I know it would consume every part of me. But I just, man, I feel like I've seen every movie in the 90s, it feels like now. Because I just love like that time frame of films, and I wish that I had been alive to like go to the theater and like see those for the first time. Like would have been so great. But it's okay. I do it in this living room instead. That's pretty nice.

SPEAKER_10

And it's a great living room to do it in. Yeah. Great living room. During my free time, I like to go to the beach. I like to read. Like if I if it's a nice day out, I like to go to the beach. Um if I'm just coming home from work or whatever, I will still read. I like to do the dishes.

SPEAKER_03

What?

SPEAKER_10

I just like to turn I think doing that I get to turn my brain off. And so sometimes I'll just do the dishes. I cosplay backup house.

SPEAKER_04

Mary Grace is like, it's great having her as a roommate. She loves new dishes. Great roommate.

SPEAKER_10

Loves new dishes. Yeah, that's probably it. Like, if I'm not with anybody, well, I'm always with Mary Grace now. But even if like we're not really talking or doing anything, I think I'm pretty much reading almost all of that time. Yeah. Sometimes I even read while doing the dishes. I have my Kindle.

SPEAKER_00

She reads She's a pro reader.

SPEAKER_05

She reads while she's watching a show. What? I don't know how you can do that. How? Literally how?

SPEAKER_11

Like I feel like I'd get like the stories mixed up.

SPEAKER_04

Did that happen in the movie or in my book? I don't know how she does that. Like, we'll just be.

SPEAKER_05

We'll just be watching a show and then she'll get up and then she'll come back with a book, and I'm like, what do you what are you gonna do with that?

SPEAKER_10

Like or watching a show.

SPEAKER_11

I should imagine it too. You're probably just chilled as she comes up.

SPEAKER_09

What are you gonna do with that? You hear of a page chart next to you?

SPEAKER_05

Um I think it's just because I get so invested in the shows that I watch and I can't multitask, and she can multitask like that. But I will say, when we were watching one trio, you've already seen it. I've already seen it. That's fair. Yeah, I've already seen it.

SPEAKER_09

I can do something like that, like The Office. I know well enough that's background noise. Yeah. But like if it's like a new show, can you read while you're doing it, or like do you not?

SPEAKER_10

The thing is, I don't watch anything new. And that's it. Because I don't know what this is called, this is called, but I have like I generally don't think I have like bad anxiety, but when I watch something new, I do get really bad anxiety. Like I can't handle it, so I just don't watch anything new.

SPEAKER_06

That's why I look up the endings to movies before I watch them. Or watch. Because I can't handle it. Yes, I can't handle it. I can't wait. What was it?

SPEAKER_10

Top Gun Maverick?

SPEAKER_06

Oh my gosh, yes, Top Gun in the theater, and he was about to get like shot down, and I'm like, does Tom die? And he's like, no. And I was like, then I'm fine.

SPEAKER_09

Wait, does Miles Teller die?

SPEAKER_06

Also, does anyone die in this? Does Lewis Pullman? Yeah, no, and that's I think we do that all the time.

SPEAKER_10

So I don't understand that. I can't watch new things, so I don't think I've seen anything new in the last year.

SPEAKER_09

You would have hated the drama.

SPEAKER_10

Oh, I I I didn't look that up because I wanted to know. It's actually I do want to watch it, but well, I probably not.

SPEAKER_05

But yeah.

SPEAKER_04

MG.

SPEAKER_05

I will say I can like because one of my favorite things is putting on a show that I've seen before too. So I guess I can multitask some while I'm watching like The Office or something, because I've seen it a million times, and that is one of my favorite things, is just like to watch The Office or one of my comfort shows, and probably not read though. Like I guess when I'm reading, I'm like I have to be focused. But I like to do like paint or color or do some type of craft while I have something going on in the background, so that's one of my favorite things. Anything outside though, but I feel like if I'm going to do something outside, like the beach and probably with people, but sometimes I like to go by myself to like a coffee shop or somewhere fun, either outside or a cute indoor place and read or do my devo or something like that. But Tyree and I are always together, so we're never alone. We're never apart. So we do a lot of but we do, I feel like we have our like alone time together, if that makes sense.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, I go to I I go to bed pretty I think I go to bed pretty early. So when I go like in my room, I just like dilly-dally until I'm tired.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Because we'll both just be like sitting there not talking, but we're together, but we're doing our own thing.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

So that's honestly the best way to do it. Because you're not alone, but you're still recharging. That's probably my favorite.

SPEAKER_11

Not gonna lie, you do you guys describing that is exactly how my friend who just got married described it because they're describing each other like a married couple right now. It's like he's like, it's so awesome because it's like I'm not alone, but like it feels like I'm having my alone time. We're just like there together all the time. By the way, they're not together, they just moved in together. Tyree and Mary at Grace.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I don't think anyone was giving you.

SPEAKER_11

I don't think there was for the new viewers, who knows?

SPEAKER_10

We did just move in. We're rimies. Alrighty. We spent that much time together before, though, too. So yeah, we did. That's fair. Yeah, that's fair. That's fair.

Sleep Routines Naps And Anxiety

SPEAKER_10

I like I don't know if we mentioned this something about sleeping. This has nothing to do with your topic or whatever, but I thought it was funny. Because I had to get a new smart ring because my other one broke. And it can track like when I go to sleep, and it tracks how long it takes me to go to sleep, and it says like the average person is like, I think it said like 10 to 15 minutes. I, on average, go to sleep within two minutes of being in the life. What?

SPEAKER_11

That's wild.

SPEAKER_04

That's insane.

SPEAKER_11

My gray's astonished. Even Gray.

SPEAKER_10

Even Gray. I thought that was insane.

SPEAKER_11

Alright, no, that's my 30 minutes. How long does it yeah? How long does it take everybody to fall asleep? Me? I gotta be in between like 15, maybe 10. Like 10 to 15 minutes, probably.

SPEAKER_09

U Look, I gotta have, let me tell you what, I gotta have my big fan on. Oh girl. I gotta have my ASMR playing next to me with my sleep timer turned on. ASMR? What is it? Hotel fan. Um and then I gotta turn over like 25 times, and then I'm good. 25 times. It takes forever. I can't.

SPEAKER_10

I generally I do have the gotta have the pillow configuration.

SPEAKER_09

My ideal pillow configuration is also a cool pillow.

SPEAKER_11

How do you guys fall asleep? Do you fall asleep on your side, stomach, back? I'm curious. How does everybody sleep? I'm a side sleeper. Side sleeper? Okay.

SPEAKER_06

I I can sleep anywhere and I fall asleep. It's true. I can like literally I'll yeah.

SPEAKER_09

I think I have a picture of Gracie upside down in a car asleep. What?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, no, like I fall asleep all the time.

SPEAKER_11

She wasn't passed off from the blood rushing to her head?

SPEAKER_06

That's probably no. That might fall. That's fine.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, I just go on my stomach. I'm not I'm a very like light sleeper. I've never slept in the car or on a plane or anything before. Never. Like as a baby, even it was my parents say it was a struggle. What? So unfortunately. And I can't nap. But I can't. I've maybe I've maybe napped like two times in my life. And it makes me feel so sick after.

SPEAKER_09

No, I I cannot nap, and every time that it happens, I wake up and I'm like, honestly.

SPEAKER_04

It's way worse. And I should napped. Like, I can't nap. It's dead.

SPEAKER_11

Who here loves naps and who here hates naps? I mean, I wish I could.

SPEAKER_07

Exactly. I wish I could have to do that. Why do you not nap? Like just like we're drive. You look at me for how long?

SPEAKER_10

I wish. I can nap, and there are times when I get so tired where I have to, but generally I don't like napping because I always wake up confused.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that's not real. And I wake up. And how do you sleep?

SPEAKER_10

I sleep on my side. I sleep, and I don't, I thought this was weird because I like all of a sudden was self-aware about it. But like I sleep with my arms crossed on my side like this. Oh wow.

SPEAKER_09

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_09

I'm either on my on my side with my arms crossed. Or I'm on my stomach with my one leg propped up, kind of. Yeah. Floor. Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Oh yeah. That is real.

SPEAKER_09

That's cute. That's cute. That's what me puts me out fast. That's like. You know what? Let me hit this one. Next time you hit it, you're gonna be asleep in under two. My sleep configuration. Unlocking my hips while I'm trying to fall asleep.

SPEAKER_11

It's almost like a crime scene. She has it like mapped out on her bed as she falls asleep.

SPEAKER_08

Hold on.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, my arm's off. Oh, wait, there's no more.

SPEAKER_10

Huh? Oh my god. Gotta hit the four.

SPEAKER_05

I I start out sleeping on my side, but I feel like I end up on my stomach eventually. And yeah, hitting the figure four eventually. Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

Gotta do it. Fantastic four.

SPEAKER_11

Fantastic four.

SPEAKER_10

Hitting the Fantastic Four.

SPEAKER_11

I have to sleep on my back. I can't. I can't. And there's been. I'm not gonna lie, I fall asleep like a vampire. I remember. Um yeah. Yeah, that too.

SPEAKER_04

And I think that's a bummer. I can't say that.

SPEAKER_11

It depends. So it's weird. When I'm in my bed, it takes me around like 10, maybe 15 minutes to fall asleep. If I'm not in my bed and I'm taking a nap, I'm out instantly. Like I remember at my old job or before I became a salesman, I would go out into my car and take like 20 or 30 minute naps. I'd lean my car seat back, uh, no music playing, no nothing. I can hear people like the mechanics like probably 20 feet away from me fall asleep. And I'd be out until my alarm went went off. I'd wake up and I'd go back to work. Like I I can nap anywhere.

SPEAKER_09

I mean, I do that while he was on his break.

SPEAKER_11

I have a break. I'm not going to be able to do that.

SPEAKER_05

I have a question too, which I can ask after. But I was just curious what time you usually take a nap.

SPEAKER_11

Midday. Like our it's gotta be after lunchtime. So like two, three o'clock.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, because without fail, I feel like I'm trying to hold my eyelids open every day around the like the two to four period. Yeah. Like crying my eyelids open. Doing the head, doing the head bob, everything. I wish I could be that tired when it's actually time to go to bed. Because there's I'm not kidding, there's times I'm even driving home from work, and I'm like, I have got to stay awake.

SPEAKER_09

Read something somewhere, and I I actually don't remember what the actual fact was. So this is my guess. If I'm wrong, I'm probably wrong. But I remember reading something about how like women from two to four, that's where you produce like the most of some chemical, which is why like most times we're most tired at that time when we're watching, it's so it's really yeah, that's literally what I told you.

SPEAKER_05

It's like literally unsafe. I feel like sometimes how sleepy I get. Like I'm head bobbing. I'm just a girl. I'm literally just a girl. I'm like, I cannot be this tired all of a sudden. Like it just hits me. And then I have to, like, I literally have to, if I have the like if I'm sitting at my desk, have to close my eyes for like 10 minutes or something like that. So I was just curious if that happened to you guys too.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, it's probably there at two to four. Monday, I head bobbed so hard, and I like hit my head on my computer.

SPEAKER_11

That's bad.

SPEAKER_10

I was like, I need to stay up.

SPEAKER_11

It's so bad because that's me during my meetings. Like, yeah, I have a once a week we gotta go to meetings. It's every Saturday morning. I'm sitting there and I'm just like, I'm like, I'll close my eyes just for a second. I I was like, I won't fall asleep, and I can feel my body bobbing. I'm like, oh, this is bad. But yeah, it's usually around that time is when I gotta take a nap.

SPEAKER_10

No, you don't you don't understand. You're not a woman.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_10

You don't have empathy.

SPEAKER_11

You don't have empathy.

SPEAKER_10

That's like I understand. That time, yeah. You literally no.

SPEAKER_05

You want to introduce your last amount? Oh, right. Oh, wait, Morgan and Gracie, did y'all already say your sleep configuration? Oh, I'm just sleeping.

SPEAKER_11

Trust, trust, trust.

Who Would We Be Without Faith

SPEAKER_05

Okay.

SPEAKER_11

If you guys were not Christian, like you guys didn't find Christ at whatever age you were, and everything like that, where do you guys think you would be in life right now?

SPEAKER_06

Into Clerb. You know what?

SPEAKER_11

Um she's not wrong.

SPEAKER_07

I absolutely would be.

SPEAKER_11

Honestly, I'd probably be a bum. Chud.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, honestly. Honestly.

SPEAKER_09

Chad polite.

SPEAKER_11

I said that to my friend the other day. I was like, man, I wish I could be a Chud and just not care about my responsibilities and just go like be like just be an idiot all day, like and do nothing. I wish that, but I can't.

SPEAKER_01

I can't. Yeah, but I don't know. The clerb is a good answer, but I cannot see you in the club.

SPEAKER_09

I'm I'm definitely not being the same. You will you will not find me in the club. Yeah, I'm too anxious to see. I would yeah, be so anxious. Actually, that would be my peak anxiety. Now I could see you bartending. In a cr yeah. Oh yeah. I'd like to be clear. Yeah, I probably would be. Yeah, bartending. Or this is insane. Actually, I can't say that. That's too depressing.

SPEAKER_08

Say it. Say it.

SPEAKER_09

No, no, no. Bartending. Nice. Bartending.

SPEAKER_06

I would definitely be in the club. I think that just looks so fun, to be honest.

SPEAKER_11

She's saying like she wishes it. She goes, hmm.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. But like, not really, but like, it just seems fun. But whatever. I'm here.

SPEAKER_09

Guys saying start a chill clerk. Start a chill club.

SPEAKER_06

No, but yeah. Little school dance. To be honest, for one up.

SPEAKER_11

Do the church clap in the club.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

You walk in the club. I'm going. I'm dab and deep.

SPEAKER_06

What's it? Wave some grace. See, why is up? That actually, if there's a club like that, I'd be there. That's that.

SPEAKER_11

During the summer when she's not working, you know where to find Gracie. The Christian clerk.

SPEAKER_09

It's exclusively like early 2000s Christian music. And then it's like Andy Grammar.

SPEAKER_08

And Gracie's like, you gotta keep your head up. I don't know.

SPEAKER_09

Andy Grammar, no, don't you?

SPEAKER_08

You gotta keep your head up. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_07

Andy.

unknown

Thank you.

SPEAKER_04

Of course. It's hard for me to like a picture what that would even be like because my life's just like so, it's just, yeah, it's like like what would be the polar opposite. I don't know where I'd be. Like, I probably wouldn't have much ambition or like something that I'm working towards. I'd probably be living with some random guy. I don't know. Like it's just hey.

SPEAKER_08

Oh, dead.

SPEAKER_07

No, bro. The headphones are recorded in forever.

SPEAKER_04

Don't say that. Clip that, clip that. Well, we can't leave that in, unfortunately. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_11

Unfortunately.

SPEAKER_04

Unfortunately, that won't be in the final episode. I'll bleep it though. We gotta keep that. We need to set up a clip for us. We gotta keep that for the patrons. No, I don't trust any of you guys for that. What the hell?

SPEAKER_11

Alright, Tyree.

SPEAKER_10

I'll probably be locked up.

SPEAKER_11

We know there's feeding stories.

SPEAKER_10

I would be locked up. Or in some grippy socks at the very least.

SPEAKER_07

Can you give me both?

SPEAKER_03

I really probably in a different way. Like I listen.

SPEAKER_10

That's exactly where I would be.

SPEAKER_11

Grace is at the clerk.

SPEAKER_10

And I'm in the clink. Who's protecting who in the cl? What?

SPEAKER_11

Morgan and Tyree. Who's protecting who in the clink?

SPEAKER_09

No, no, no. Mary Grace Tyree. We were both in the clink?

SPEAKER_10

You're not. Let's not think about that. They would be together too. Where would you be?

SPEAKER_06

Just in the horses.

SPEAKER_11

She'd live in the forest.

SPEAKER_05

Born like barrel child among the horses. Living among the wild horses.

SPEAKER_08

You see her like pretend trying to be a long way. No.

SPEAKER_07

Have your horses heard of Obama before? Okay, Mary Grace, where do you think you'd be? No. I don't know if you my fan. Follow me.

SPEAKER_05

Alright, we're at one we're at 115 for time. We gotta wrap it up. I feel like a combination, probably, of a lot of fan living among horses. And in the clerb.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, and in the clerk.

SPEAKER_05

Probably.

SPEAKER_09

That's jail.

SPEAKER_05

And definitely in a not healthy relationship, probably. Some kind of unhealthy boyfriend situation, toxic boyfriend situation going on. Yeah, probably. So thank you, Jesus. Thank you. Thank you.

SPEAKER_10

Well, I think that's all the questions I could come up with.

SPEAKER_11

I wish I came up with more.

SPEAKER_09

No, we have to tell us. We actually dug our heels in on all those questions.

SPEAKER_04

Not a single marble. Not a single stone left over.

Wrap Up And Where To Follow

SPEAKER_02

Hey guys, thanks for listening. I'm back for some reason. Um follow us on Instagram at Yappers Unite. Um yeah, I guess that's it. I don't know. I don't typically do this, so. Thanks for listening. Thanks for watching.

SPEAKER_07

Even Gray! Even Gray.
